Accounting & Book Keeping

We can prepare your annual financial statements to comply with the relevant legislation. However, we would strongly recommend review of financials more than once a year. Do you want to wait 12 months to know how your business is doing?

The traditional model of the accountant / auditor coming in once a year to sign off on the accounts is not something W&A Professional Services aspires to. Key to our business success is the strong relationships we have fostered with our clients. Whilst we look to "partner" with our clients, we do appreciate that certain businesses look for simple book-keeping and accounting services to fulfill their statutory and revenue obligations. However, this will not stop us from calling you with pro-active advise. For example, were you one of the businesses who availed of the Employment Subsidy Scheme in December 2009 which gave over €9,00 per employee retained. W&A Professional Services had a 100% success rate with its submissions, with one client receiving over €70,000.

Accounts preparation

• Sole traders and Partnerships - accounts typically used as a basis for income tax returns and banking purposes. As opposed to many of our competitors, we do not focus on tax alone. We always look at ways we can reduce all our clients' expense line items.
• Companies - statutory annual accounts for shareholders that comply with both Irish GAAP and international financial reporting standards. We also prepare statutory financial statements for filing in the Companies Registration Office, assisting you to avail all relevant exemptions.

Support services

We provide a wide range of accounting support services tailored to our clients' needs, including payroll, bookkeeping, management accounts, company secretarial and other administrative services.
